Getting to Casa da Parra

Faro Airport (FAO) is the gateway to the Algarve, with direct flights from most major European cities. Casa da Parra is approximately 39 minutes by car.

Taxi

Taxis from Faro Airport to Guia cost approximately €60-80. Use the official taxi rank outside the terminal.

Rental car (recommended for your stay)

A rental car gives you the most freedom to explore the Algarve. All major companies have desks at Faro Airport: Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Sixt, and local operators like Guerin.

Top tip: Book in advance during peak season (June–September). Prices increase significantly for last-minute bookings.

Driving to Casa da Parra

From Faro Airport:

1. Follow signs to the A22 (Via do Infante) motorway heading west

2. Take exit 6 (Albufeira/Guia)

3. Follow signs to Guia

4. The villa is approximately 39 minutes from the airport

Note: The A22 is a toll motorway. If your rental car has a Via Verde transponder, tolls are charged automatically. Otherwise, register your number plate at portotolls.com within 48 hours of using the road.

Parking

Casa da Parra has free private parking with space for multiple vehicles.
