Family Fun Near Casa da Parra

The Algarve is a paradise for families, and Casa da Parra's central Guia location puts you within easy reach of every attraction.

ZooMarine — 7 minutes

A world-class marine theme park with dolphin shows, aquariums, water rides, and a beach area. Easily a full day out. Kids under 5 go free. Our closest major attraction.

Slide & Splash — 15 minutes

One of Europe's top water parks. Huge range of slides from gentle to extreme, plus wave pools and lazy rivers. Open April–October.

Aqualand — 20 minutes

Another excellent water park option with rides for all ages. The "Kamikaze" slide is legendary among teenagers.

Boat Trips from Albufeira Marina — 20 minutes

• Dolphin watching — Bottlenose dolphins are common off the Algarve coast. Several operators offer 2-hour trips with high sighting rates.
• Grotto tours — Explore the stunning sea caves and rock formations along the coast. The Benagil sea cave (accessible by boat) is bucket-list worthy.
• Pirate ship cruises — Kids love these themed boat trips along the coast.

Krazy World Zoo — 20 minutes

A smaller, more hands-on animal park where kids can hold snakes, feed lemurs, and try mini-golf. Less overwhelming than ZooMarine for younger children.

Aquashow — 35 minutes

Combines water park rides with a raptor show and animal exhibits. The roller coaster and wild water rides suit older kids and teens.

At the villa: Don't forget Casa da Parra's own entertainment — the private pool, ping-pong table, basketball hoop, and arcade machine mean you won't hear "I'm bored" even on rest days.
